THE CINEMA ACADEMY PROGRAM

ANNOUNCING A BRAND NEW, REDESIGNED PROGRAM! The Cinema Academy is proud to present individual film classes (6 weeks in length each): SCREENWRITING, DIRECTING, PRODUCTION, POST-PRODUCTION. These film classes can stand alone or be combined at your convenience.

Our classes are unique in their two-pronged approach: develop the creative/ technical side as well as build the social skills necessary for creative collaboration. Students learn the art of communication, leadership and team building – all in the process of filmmaking.

Directed by Professor Lucy Gebre-Egziabher, weekly classes take place on Saturdays from 10am - 1pm at HB Woodlawn, serving students in Arlington, Alexandria and the Northern Virginia region.
